Orientation for new SAGE students is scheduled prior to the beginning of each semester. To register to attend our Fall 2019 program, click on the link below.

Our program on Monday, August 19, will begin at 5 pm with registration followed by the program at 5:30 pm. We are offering pre-session campus tours. These will begin from the main lobby of Blaney Hall at 4:15 pm and provide you time to get back to check-in before the program begins.

If you are unable to attend orientation, we have provided a list of items for you to work through as you prepare for your first day of class. To view the list, scroll down to the section titled "Self-Directed Orientation To Do Items".

For the self-directed learner or for students who are unable to attend Orientation on Monday, August 19, 2019, below is a list of to-do items for you to get ready for your first day of class.  If you have any questions about any of the items listed below, please contact Academic Services at 610-606-4628.

Obtain your Student ID

To obtain a Student ID card, please contact Lisa Wallitsch (610-606-4666 ext. 3434 or to schedule a time to sit for your photo, or you may visit the Tompkins College Center, room 121, (building #28 on the campus map), Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Note: You must be registered for classes to receive a Student ID card.

Obtain your Parking Permit

To register your vehicle and obtain a parking decal, take the following items to Campus Police:

  • your new Student ID card
  • current driver’s license
  • vehicle registration card
  • current proof of insurance

Campus Police is located in the Safety & Facilities Building (building #25 on the campus map) and is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  Click here for more information about parking on campus. 

Purchase your Textbooks

Textbook information and online ordering may be found by visiting the Cedar Crest College Bookstore online or on campus in the Tompkins College Center, Level I (building #28 on the campus map).  Please note:  If you are planning to use financial aid funds to purchase your textbooks, your account will be open and available for the first time on May 10 2019.  If you have any questions regarding textbooks, please contact the Cedar Crest College Bookstore at 610-740-3775.

Get Connected
