Early Commencement Participation Request

To participate in Cedar Crest College’s annual Commencement Exercises in May, students must have either:

• Completed their degree requirements.
• Be on track to complete them by the conclusion of the summer term immediately following the ceremony.

Submit this form if you meet the following criteria:

• You will not complete your degree requirements before the end of the summer term, but you would like to participate in this year’s commencement ceremony instead of waiting for the next one.

Student Acknowledgment

By submitting this Request Form, I acknowledge that I am seeking permission to participate in a graduation ceremony that falls outside of the academic year in which I will complete my degree. I understand that I will not be officially considered a graduate of the college until I have satisfied all academic requirements. Additionally, I recognize that eligibility for honors and awards, including Latin honors, dual degrees, and honors programs, will be determined as of April 1 each year. Any coursework completed after this date will not be factored into these calculations. I also acknowledge that I am required to submit a graduation application before the deadlines set by the college in order to be considered for academic graduation.
