Description
This course fulfills two goals: (1) development of career plans and skills, including interviews, resumes, and oral, written, and digital communication. (2) development of critical thinking skills through the selection of a research topic and preparation of a research proposal. Should a student select the thesis option for her major, this proposal will be the foundation for her thesis research. This course is part of the capstone requirement for all majors in the Department of Biological Sciences, and is normally taken in the fall of the junior year.
Prerequisites: C- or better in both BIO 123 and BIO 124, and C- or better in either BIO 239 with lab or BIO 231 with lab.
