Description

This course examines selected physiologic and pathophysiological conditions encountered in clinical practice across the life span of clients. Emphasis is placed on regulatory and compensatory mechanisms as they relate to commonly occurring diseases. Concepts of cellular, molecular and genetic, physiology, immunology, neurophysiology, endocrine/reproductive, cardiovascular, blood, pulmonary, renal, and digestive physiology will be examined.
