If you are interested in becoming a peer tutor, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Download and print the Faculty Recommendation Form (below).

Step 2: Request that the form be filled out by a faculty member of your choice in the subject area for which you would like to tutor. 

Step 3: Email Liz Declan at to schedule an interview.

Step 4: Bring the following to your scheduled interview:

  1. Proof that you received a B+ or higher in the course(s) you'd like to tutor 
  2. Proof of your current overall GPA
  3. A copy of your Faculty Recommendation Form*
  4. Any other documents you think may be useful, such as: a resume, a cover letter, etc.

*If the faculty member providing your recommendation prefers to keep their form confidential, they can email Liz Declan at the address above or send the form via interoffice mail to Liz Declan in Academic Services.
