Our goal is to help maintain and promote a community of scholars where each individual has the opportunity to develop their potential and explore their talents and interests in and out of the classroom. Cedar Crest College stresses the importance of holistic wellness of the student in a way that prepares them for success in all facets of life.

Student Success and Engagement consists of the following offices:


By providing emergency resources to students in need, they are more likely to succeed academically and persist to graduation. While the college cannot provide everything these students may need, we can support their learning by eliminating barriers to their success.

All students must complete the emergency contact information form by the end of the second week of classes. Please ensure that your information is accurate. The information that you include on this form will only be used by College personnel (e.g. Campus Police, Residence Life, etc.) in the event of an emergency. Thank you. Going to an event sanctioned by Cedar Crest that will cause you to miss class? Use the attached form to notify instructors about planned absences due to College sanctioned events. This form is designed to assist students in talking with faculty regarding an absence for any college sponsored event.

Students should understand that at the time of absence they should be making sufficient academic progress within the class.
