Carina Cohen (she/her) is the professional mathematics tutor and an adjunct instructor for the mathematics department at Cedar Crest College. She studied educational studies, mathematics, and psychology at Vassar College, and holds a PA secondary math teaching certificate. In addition to years of tutoring and supplemental instruction, Carina has experience as a middle and high school teacher. Outside of math, Carina is highly engaged in music: she plays the flute and piccolo, has soloed repeatedly as a soprano vocalist, and performs in musical theatre. She last performed as Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Pennsylvania Playhouse in the fall of 2023. She lives in Bethlehem with the two loves of her life, her partner Matt and her cat Silvia.
Undergraduate Mathematics - Carina is the Professional Mathematics Tutor at Cedar Crest College and she can aid in developing academic skills such as effective study habits, test-taking strategies, and notetaking techniques as well as practicing the use and application of equations, formulas, theories, and concepts.
